- 1Start with the big background areas: color the distant skyline and the upper building windows with medium blue and pale sky blue, leaving the open sky white.
- 2Fill the trees and plant leaves with leaf green, then paint the left building wall light apricot and its door chocolate brown.
- 3Color the police car body charcoal gray and the roof navy blue, and add the light bar with bright red on the left, royal blue on the right, and white in the middle.
- 4Paint the officer's cap and uniform royal blue, his face and neck pale peach, and the traffic light with bright red, amber yellow, and forest green lights.
- 5Add the awning with bright red and dusty rose stripes, keeping the white stripes white, and color the headlights tangerine orange with white centers.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading on the car body and the road with a slightly darker shade of charcoal gray to make the car look shinier.
