Two Police Cars Parked at the Brick Police Station
Coloring guide
Kids who love community helpers will enjoy this proud, smiling officer standing next to two parked patrol cars in front of a brick police station. He wears a cap with a badge, a uniform shirt with a shoulder patch, a belt, and a baton. Both cars have light bars on the roof, star-shaped badges on the doors, and sturdy front push bumpers. The station has double doors, two lanterns, a star shield over the entrance, and a pitched roof. A flag waves on a tall pole, and clouds, birds, leafy trees, and flower bushes surround everything. With both big and small spaces, this free printable fits different skill levels. Deep navy for the uniform and cars and red and yellow for the front flowers is one idea. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sky and background areas: color the trees and bushes in leaf green, and the sidewalk and road in medium gray.
- 2Fill the station building walls and gable with pale sand, and add cream to the trim and door frames.
- 3Color the two police cars in royal blue on the lower bodies and doors, leaving the hoods and the car door badge white.
- 4Add navy blue to the officer's shirt, pants and cap, and use pale sand for his face. Leave the eyes and highlights white.
- 5Finish with sky blue on the windows and the clouds, then add light gray to the car light bars and bumpers. Optional: add a darker shade of gray under the cars to make them look grounded.
