In a tuft of grass sits a grinning pumpkin with big sparkly eyes and an open, happy mouth. Right behind it, a cheerful little ghost peeks out and waves with one raised arm. The pumpkin has a curly vine and a leaf on top, and the ghost has a wavy bottom edge and a wide smile. More grass patches dot the ground, and four leaves of different sizes run along the bottom of the page. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the whole pumpkin body, including its front and both sides, with pumpkin orange, leaving the ghost body white.
- 2Color the pumpkin's leafy top and its curly tendril area with leaf green, keeping the tendril lines bold.
- 3Color the pumpkin stem in warm brown, from its top down to where it meets the pumpkin.
- 4Fill the two leaves on the ground at the lower left and the left side with burnt orange, the small leaf in the middle with bright red, and the leaf on the right with golden yellow.
- 5Color the pumpkin's grinning mouth and the ghost's open mouth in rose pink, then add soft pink to the tongue inside the pumpkin's mouth.
- 6Optional: Add a few darker orange lines along the pumpkin ribs for depth, and leave the eye whites and the ghost's body bright white.
