A smiling, floppy-eared puppy has both front paws propped on top of a big round ball. Its mouth is open with the tongue showing, and its tail curls up behind. Curved stripes run across the ball, which leaves big, easy sections to fill in. A few rounded bushes stand on either side behind the puppy, and little grass tufts dot the ground. Fluffy chest fur, big shiny eyes and soft ears add detail for careful colorers, while the wide shapes still work for younger kids. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the puppy's head, ears, and body with honey gold, keeping the two eye whites and the shiny dots in the eyes white.
- 2Fill the fluffy tail with caramel orange so it stands out from the body.
- 3Color the ball's stripes: tomato red for the top stripe, lemon yellow for the middle and lower-left stripes, sky blue for the right stripe, ocean blue for the bottom-right edge, and grass green for the thin left edge.
- 4Color the bushes on both sides and the grass tufts at the bottom with grass green.
- 5Fill the tongue with coral pink and the nose with warm gray.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading with the same colors along the edges of the puppy's body and the ball to make them look rounder.
