Smiling Rain Cloud Watering a Flower

A fluffy cloud with a big happy face sits at the top of the page, with round eyes, little curved eyebrows and an open smile. Seven teardrop-shaped raindrops fall below it in three loose rows. At the bottom, a single flower with five round petals and a circle in the center stands on a long stem with two large leaves. The flower grows from a wavy puddle with a few ripple lines. The shapes are big and the outlines are bold, so the page works well for younger kids with chunky crayons. Try coloring the raindrops in different shades of blue and then talk about how rain helps flowers grow. It also fits nicely with a spring weather lesson, and you can print it for free at home or in class.
