Cute Ringed Planet and Moon, a Solar System & Space Printable

Right in the middle of the page floats a ringed planet with big shiny eyes, tiny eyebrows and a happy little smile. Two curved stripes wrap around its round body, and double rings circle it like a hula hoop. In the corner, a small cratered moon sits among five twinkling stars of different sizes that are scattered around the planet. Bold lines and large shapes make this free printable a good match for preschoolers and early elementary kids with chunky crayons or markers. Orange and yellow stripes with purple rings would make a fun contrast, and the moon can stay pale gray while the stars go gold. It works well for a space lesson, a quiet afternoon or a rainy day at home. More like this: explore the Solar System & Space, Butterfly and Beach coloring page collections.
