Little Satellite Above Earth, Solar System & Space Printable
Coloring guide
Above planet Earth floats a cartoon satellite with a happy face. Its rounded body has a small antenna on top, two large grid-patterned solar panels reach out on either side, and a big dish points downward with a little ball on the tip. The bottom of the page shows part of the Earth with outlined continents, including the Americas and parts of Europe and Africa. Small stars of different sizes are spread around the satellite in the open sky. The big panel squares and wide continents are easy for little hands to fill in. Deep blue panels, light blue oceans and green land would look great, with a bright yellow glow on the stars. A free printable for a space lesson or a quiet afternoon. Kids who like Solar System & Space coloring pages usually enjoy Butterfly and Beach too.

- sky blue
- grass green
- royal blue
- light gray
- golden yellow
- slate blue
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the ocean parts of the globe: color the blue areas of Earth in sky blue, including the seas and the bottom edge of the planet.
- 2Fill the land on Earth in grass green: North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Greenland, the British Isles and the islands near them.
- 3Color the satellite body, the big round dish and the top dome in light gray, and leave a few small spots white for shine.
- 4Use royal blue for the solar panel grids, the bands around the body and dish, the antenna ball and the small ball under the dish.
- 5Color the stars golden yellow, and use slate blue for the dark side window on the satellite body.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading along the edges of the gray parts and the Earth to give the drawing more depth.
