Snowman with Earmuffs and a Wooden Sled

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• pale sky blue
• cherry red
• caramel brown
• leaf green
• golden tan
• charcoal gray
• carrot orange

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the snow: fill the mounds on both sides and the snow under the sled with pale sky blue, and leave the snowman's head and body white.
2. 2Color the sled's slats and the snowman's arms with caramel brown, keeping the thin gaps under the slats white.
3. 3Fill the sled's runners, front curve and rope loop with golden tan, then add the sled's inner snow area in pale sky blue.
4. 4Color the earmuffs, the outer headband and the scarf stripes and fringe with cherry red, leaving the thin inner headband strip white.
5. 5Add the green sections of the scarf with leaf green, and use carrot orange for the carrot nose.
6. 6Finish with charcoal gray on the three buttons. Optional: add a little shading on the snow with a slightly darker blue for depth.
