Standing next to a decorated Christmas tree, this snowman wears a fluffy Santa-style hat with a pom-pom and holds a big candy cane in one mittened hand. His scarf is striped with fringed ends, and he has a carrot nose, a wide smile and three round buttons down his tummy. The tree behind him is topped with a large star and hung with round ornaments and strings of beads. Three wrapped presents with big bows rest on little snow mounds in the bottom corners. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the Christmas tree branches and the green stripes of the scarf with forest green, adding a touch of olive green to one darker scarf stripe.
- 2Color the three gift boxes' front faces sky blue on the left, bright red in the middle, and royal purple on the right, then add the purple sides on the right gift.
- 3Use bright red for the Santa hat top, the hat tip, both mittens, the red scarf ends and the round ornaments, leaving the hat fur trim and the pompom white.
- 4Color all the gift ribbons and bows lemon yellow, and fill the tree star with golden yellow.
- 5Color the carrot nose carrot orange and the candy cane red stripes bright red, keeping the candy cane's white stripes, the snowman's face and body white.
- 6Optional: color the snowman's three coal buttons black, then add a little extra shading along the edges of the gifts.
