Spider Hanging Beneath a Wide Web Hub

Coloring guide
A large spider web stretches across the page from the top center, with its hub of small circles and straight lines running out toward the edges. Curved threads connect the spokes, and the thick outer lines make the web look like it is coming toward you. At the bottom right, a small round spider dangles from a single thread. It has two eyes, a wide smile with two little fangs, and eight striped legs, four on each side. Because the web has so many separate sections, it works well for a pattern activity. Try coloring each section of the web in a different pastel and keeping the spider dark, then talk about how spiders spin silk to catch food. The big open spaces suit crayons, and the thin lines near the hub are good for fine-tip markers. A printable page like this is also easy to use for a quick bug unit.
