Arms-Wide SpongeBob SquarePants Standing Front and Center
Coloring guide
SpongeBob stands front and center with a huge open-mouth grin, two big front teeth and his tongue showing. His round eyes have long lashes, and oval holes are spread across his square, wavy-edged body. His arms hang out to the sides with his four-fingered hands open, and his skinny legs end in big rounded shoes. The outfit is drawn simply: a short-sleeved shirt, a collar, a tie and belted square pants with little rectangles along the waistband. No background here, so the page stays clean and uncluttered, which suits younger kids with chunky crayons. Bright yellow for the body, a red tie, brown pants and blue eyes would be a good start. This free coloring page is ready to download and print for kids and coloring fans of any age. Kids who like SpongeBob SquarePants coloring pages usually enjoy The Flintstones and Calico Critters too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sponge body, back sponge, arms, hands, legs and nose in golden yellow, leaving the shirt, sleeves and collar white.
- 2Add olive green spots across the body, the back side and the cheeks, keeping them round or oval.
- 3Color the pants and shorts in warm brown, leaving the small rectangles along the belt white.
- 4Fill the open mouth with dark brown and the tongue with pink, and color the necktie and its knot bright red.
- 5Color both shoes black, and leave a small white shine spot on each shoe and the two teeth white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading along the edges of the yellow sponge and under the arms for depth.
