A big, happy starfish is the star of this sweet seaside scene, with large sparkly eyes, a wide open smile and round circles dotted along each of its five arms. At the bottom, a ridged scallop-style seashell sits on the left, and a small smiling crab waves one claw on the right. All of it rests on a sandy seabed with little pebbles and sand lines. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the starfish body orange, leaving the big eyes white with their shiny highlights.
- 2Fill the scallop shell on the left with lavender purple, coloring each ridge.
- 3Color the crab red, including its body, claws and legs, and keep the eye whites white.
- 4Add lemon yellow dots across the starfish arms, and use soft gold on the small gap under the starfish near the shell.
- 5Color the smile coral pink and the inside of the mouth light pink, leaving the teeth white.
- 6Optional: color the small pebbles on the sand light gray and add a few light shading strokes on the starfish for depth.
