A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin tones: color the face, neck, hands and the glasses-area skin in peach skin, leaving the eye whites and the glasses shine white.
- 2Fill the jacket, pants and shoes in chocolate brown and navy blue, and the bookshelves and books with tan brown, warm orange and sky blue.
- 3Color the globe: paint the oceans in ocean blue and the continents in grass green, leaving the thin grid lines and the highlight areas white.
- 4Add the planets and space objects: the ringed planet in tangerine and golden yellow, the striped planets in sky blue, royal blue and lavender purple, the rocket in light gray and the moon in coral pink.
- 5Finish the details with cherry red for the bow tie, sky blue for the shirt and the window view, then forest green and grass green for the plant and trees, keeping the telescope lens and small cloud white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the jacket folds and under the globe with a deeper tone of the same color for more depth.
