Here's a happy bear standing tall with one paw up, holding the string of a big round balloon floating over its head. It has sparkly eyes, a round nose, an open smile with a little tongue, and two rounded ears with a small tuft of fur on top. The large oval tummy patch is a roomy spot for your little artist to get creative. A few grass tufts sit by the feet on both sides. Thick, clean lines and big open shapes work well for preschoolers and early learners. A red balloon, golden brown bear, cream tummy and fresh green grass would look great. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the bear's head, both ears, raised paw, body and feet with caramel brown, leaving the eyes and nose white or dark as in the outline.
- 2Fill the oval belly patch and the muzzle with light cream.
- 3Color the inner parts of both ears with soft pink.
- 4Color the tongue salmon pink.
- 5Color the small knot at the bottom of the balloon bright red, and leave the balloon itself and the background white.
- 6Optional: add a few light diagonal strokes of darker brown on the bear's body to give a fur texture.
