Unicorn Cake with Stars and a Swirly Mane
Coloring guide
On this printable page, a round layered cake has turned into a unicorn. The front of the cake has big sparkly eyes with long lashes, round blushing cheeks and a little smile. Up top you'll see a spiral horn, two pointed ears with inner details, and a wavy mane sweeping down the right side. Piped frosting rosettes decorate the top edge, and more swirls line the bottom where the cake rests on a round plate. Small stars float around it, and a few are tucked into the mane and frosting. Soft purple and pink suit the mane, gold works for the horn and stars, and pastel blue could go on the cheeks. Try it for a birthday party, a bake-sale theme, or a quiet afternoon with crayons. Free to print as a PDF. This fits right in with our Cake coloring pages — see also For Girls and For Kids.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Leave the cake face and the eye whites cream white, then color the base plate and the cake frosting border rose pink and soft pink.
- 2Color the unicorn horn with bands: lemon yellow for the base, sky blue, lavender purple, and a rose pink tip at the top.
- 3Fill the flowing mane with lemon yellow in the center, soft pink and sky blue swirls, and lavender purple at the bottom, leaving thin white gaps between strands.
- 4Color the inside of the ears blush pink and the outer ears cream white, then add the cheeks in blush pink.
- 5Fill the piped frosting swirls on top and around the base with mint green, peach, apricot, baby blue, and periwinkle, and color the stars lemon yellow.
- 6Optional: Leave small white shine spots in the eyes and add a little extra blush pink shading on the cheeks for a soft glow.
