A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the wings and the tail: fill the big wing shapes and the flowing tail with sky blue, leaving the tips of the feathers white for a soft look.
- 2Color the pony's body, legs, and face with caramel tan, then add the golden yellow mane and forelock, leaving the eye whites and the neck highlight white.
- 3Fill the chest fluff with cream and the hooves with chocolate brown, then add the orange and tangerine streaks in the tail and mane.
- 4Color the trees with golden yellow and orange, the grass and hills with spring green and forest green, and the tree trunks with warm brown.
- 5Add the pumpkins in orange, the scarecrow scarf and hat in bright red and golden yellow, and the fallen leaves in a mix of red, yellow, and green.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading under the wings and along the belly with a slightly deeper tone of the same colors to make the pony feel more lifted off the ground.
