A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the face and hands-free skin areas: fill the whole face, nose and cheeks with peach, leaving the two big eye whites bright white.
- 2Color the tall pointed hat and its brim in purple, then fill the hat band and buckle band with charcoal gray and the buckle with golden yellow.
- 3Fill the curly hair with orange, working around the white highlights, and use the same orange for the pumpkin on the bottom left.
- 4Paint the cauldron in charcoal gray, add the golden yellow crescent moon, then fill the bubbling top with bright green and light blue touches.
- 5Color the books, the wooden walls and shelves in warm brown and dark brown, and add the cat, window and bats in royal blue and pale yellow moon.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading under the hat brim, along the hair curls and inside the cauldron to make the colors pop.
