Snowball Fight Snowman and Kids at the Snow Fort

Towering over two happy kids crouched behind a snow-brick wall, a snowman in a pom-pom beanie and striped scarf holds a snowball in each stick hand, as if the snowball fight is about to start. The boy and girl wear knit hats and mittens, and the girl's hat has little hearts while her mittens have snowflakes. Behind them are a log cabin with a chimney and a fence, snowy mountains, puffy clouds and frosty pine trees, with bare twigs poking out of the snow up front. There's lots of variety for different crayon sizes, from big snow blocks to small buttons and snowflakes. Bright red and teal stripes on the scarf and warm purple hats for the kids will stand out against icy blue shadows on the snow. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the mountains and distant hills with sky blue, then color the tall pine trees' distant neighbors in sky blue too.
- 2Color the snow fort blocks and the snowy ground with pale ice blue, leaving the white snowballs and snow highlights untouched.
- 3Color the snowman's hat and scarf with bright red stripes, add the royal blue band on the hat, and make the pompom bright red too.
- 4Dress the kids: royal blue jacket and hat for the boy, raspberry jacket and bubblegum pink hat with hearts for the girl, green mittens for the boy, and peach faces for both.
- 5Add the orange carrot nose, golden yellow pompom and scarf details on the boy's hat, and rose pink pompom and mittens on the girl.
- 6Optional: add light shading with a slightly darker tone of pale ice blue on the snow blocks for a gentle, icy look.
