Soaring Iron Man Heading Straight Up
Coloring guide
Iron Man shoots upward in this bold line-art page, with one fist clenched at his side and the other arm swept back. The helmet has a detailed faceplate, a rounded head cap and ridged neck segments. A big angular chest plate holds a round glowing circle in the center, and a similar disc sits on his hip. Winged panels flare out from his shoulders and forearms, and chunky boots trail beneath him. Since there's no background, kids can focus on all the sections of the suit. Red for the main armor and gold for the faceplate is the classic choice. You could leave the chest circle white or make it light blue so it seems to glow. It's a nice one to save as a free PDF for a rainy day or class time. Fans of Iron Man coloring pages often like Aquaman and Deadpool as well.

- golden yellow
- bright blue
- pale aqua
- charcoal gray
- warm brown
- sky blue
- mustard gold
- steel blue
- light blue
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the blue body: fill the chest, waist, upper arms, forearms and thighs with bright blue, leaving the small glowing chest light for later.
- 2Add sky blue to the middle of the chest and a few center-body areas to give the blue a second tone.
- 3Color the shoulder fins, hands, feet, knees, the helmet top, the ear piece and the neck with golden yellow, plus a touch of mustard gold near the right elbow.
- 4Fill the face with warm brown and color the beard steel blue, then use charcoal gray for the round knee disc and the shadowy area under the waist.
- 5Finish with pale aqua for the glowing chest light and light blue for the small gem on the left foot.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker blue along the edges of the armor plates to make the suit look more three-dimensional.
