Sonic the Hedgehog Sprinting at Full Speed
Coloring guide
Sonic the Hedgehog is caught mid-sprint in this clean line drawing. He leans forward with both fists clenched and his arms swinging. One big sneaker kicks up toward you so the striped sole shows, and the other foot trails behind with a strap and buckle. He wears a confident smirk and has large eyes, pointed ears and long swept-back quills. The character sits on white space with no background at all, so it suits younger kids who like thick, easy-to-follow lines and lots of open areas. Gloves, shoes and belly are nice big chunks to fill in. For the classic look, try bright blue on the quills and body, peach on the muzzle and tummy, white gloves and red shoes. No sign-up is needed to print it. Love this Sonic the Hedgehog coloring page? You might also enjoy our Plants vs. Zombies and Halo coloring pages.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- cobalt blue
- bright red
- slate gray
- peach
- golden yellow
- light gray
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the body by coloring Sonic's quills, head, torso, and back legs in cobalt blue, leaving the white eye and glove areas for later.
- 2Fill the muzzle, snout, and inner ears with peach, and color the nose area light gray.
- 3Color the sneakers in bright red on the heels and sides, and fill the soles with slate gray, leaving the white sole edges and lining untouched.
- 4Add the golden yellow buckles on the red shoe straps and the golden detail on the side of the shoe.
- 5Leave the gloves, eye whites, and white quill highlights uncolored so they stay bright white.
- 6Optional: Add a darker blue shadow on the lower quills and under the arm for a little depth.
