Here's Sonic in a confident, ready-to-go stance with both fists raised and a determined scowl. His quills sweep back from his head, his pointed ears stand up, and his long skinny legs finish in cuffed socks and big sneakers, each with a strap across the top. The outlines are clean and bold with no background, so little hands have lots of room. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring the head and body in charcoal gray, including the top of the head, ears, and chest area.
- 2Fill the muzzle and the patch on the chest with peach skin, and color the spiky quills and eye areas in bright blue.
- 3Color the shoe soles, heels, and socks in bright red, and shade the shoe toes in medium gray.
- 4Color the legs and the arms in charcoal gray, then add the gloves and fists, leaving the white parts of the fists, shoe stripe, and quill tips untouched.
- 5Optional: Add a little darker shading under the chin and along the legs to make the figure look more solid.
