Space Explorer Elephant Beanie Boos Coloring Page
Coloring guide
In this free printable, a smiling baby elephant in a bubble helmet floats through outer space. It has big sparkly eyes, large round ears and a curled trunk, and it wears a stitched, plush-style spacesuit with a chest control panel, puffy gloves and padded boots with toe details. Around it you will find a cratered moon, a ringed planet, striped planets, small asteroids and a swirling spiral galaxy. A little rocket with a round porthole window and a flame trail zooms close by, and stars of every size fill the gaps. Small hands can handle the large shapes, and older kids get more to do with the craters and tiny stars. Soft gray or pale blue works for the elephant, and bright orange and yellow flames will make the rocket stand out against a deep space background. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big elephant head and ears: color the head light gray and the inner ears rose pink, keeping the smile and eye whites clean.
- 2Fill the space helmet glass with pale blue, leaving the bright white shine spots on the glass untouched.
- 3Color the moons and planets: use golden yellow and light orange craters on the top-left moon, lime green stripes on the side planets, and lavender purple on the ringed planet.
- 4Add the rocket in red with a pale blue window, then color its flame deep orange and pale yellow.
- 5Color the space suit's spacy details: bright blue and royal blue on the paws and helmet latch, and light gray on the chest buttons.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading on the elephant head with a slightly darker gray along one side, then finish with golden yellow stars and light orange asteroids in the background.
