Spider Crawling on a Large Round Web

A large spider sits near the center of a round web with thick, bold outlines. The web has straight lines running out from the middle and curved threads linking them in rings, so it forms lots of small sections that get bigger toward the edge. The spider has an oval body, a smaller head with two little eye marks, and long legs bent out on both sides. A triangle shape is drawn on its back. Because the lines are thick and the sections are roomy, this printable page works well for kids who like to stay inside the lines. Try coloring each ring of the web in a different shade, working from the center out, to talk about patterns and how spiders build their webs. The spider can be a bright, bold color so it stands out.
