Curved-Leg Spider Waiting at the Center of the Web

A single spider sits right in the center of a round spider web, with its oval body facing up and eight long, curved legs reaching out across the threads. The web is drawn with thick, rounded outlines. Straight lines run out from the middle like spokes, and some of them stick out past the edge at the top, sides, and bottom. Curved lines connect the spokes to form the web sections. The spider's body is a big open shape with a small jagged spot near the bottom, so it is easy to color in. This free printable works well for younger kids who like bold lines. Try coloring the spider in dark purple or brown, then use a light gray or blue for the web so the spider stands out. You could also have kids count the legs and the web sections as a quick counting game.
