A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the rocky background: fill the big rock slabs in warm gray and medium gray, and leave the top corners of the sky white.
- 2Color the ground, the stacked planks and the small stones with tan beige, light wood brown and medium gray, and paint the tall poles in wood brown.
- 3Fill the warrior's body in bright blue and the lower legs in dark navy blue, keeping the belt area in slate blue gray.
- 4Color the helmet head and the hands in bright yellow, and the spiky crest on top in dark brown.
- 5Paint the giant blade in sky blue with ochre gold along its edges, then add golden yellow to the sword handle, gauntlets and arm guards.
- 6Optional: add darker touches of dark brown and olive khaki to the rock shadows and armor details to make the piece pop.
