Speedboat Number 18 with SpongeBob SquarePants and Mrs. Puff
Coloring guide
SpongeBob sits behind the wheel of a small speedboat, looking nervous and wide-eyed, with his mouth open and his buck teeth showing. Beside him, Mrs. Puff wears a striped helmet with a cap brim and holds a pencil and clipboard like she's taking notes. The number 18 is printed on the boat's side, and a small pennant flag sits on the front deck. A few simple rocky hills line a flat horizon behind them, and light lines mark the water. Big shapes and clear outlines make this a good pick for kids who like filling in large areas. Yellow for SpongeBob, a soft pastel for Mrs. Puff's helmet, and a sporty red or blue for the boat all work well. Print it out for some screen-free time at home. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the water: fill the sea around the boat, on both sides and at the bottom, with bright blue, leaving the splash at the bottom left white.
- 2Color the boat's red stripes along the front hull and right side in red, then fill the lower hull and bottom stripe in light blue.
- 3Paint Mrs. Puff's body and arms in soft pink, her helmet top in red, and her life jacket in lime green and dusty purple.
- 4Fill SpongeBob's face, body, and nose with golden yellow, keeping his eye whites and teeth white.
- 5Color the clipboard, the flag, and the boat rim in light blue and red, and add the distant mountains in periwinkle.
- 6Optional: Add pale blue shading to the water near the boat and a little medium gray under SpongeBob for depth.
