A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Color the sandy seafloor and the sand dunes with pale yellow, leaving the background sky white.
2. 2Fill SpongeBob's body, head, arms and face with golden yellow, and add lemon yellow to the glasses and side shading.
3. 3Color Patrick's body, arm, hand and foot with pink, then fill his shorts with lime green and purple.
4. 4Paint the seaweed blades green and the coral tubes sky blue, with orange coral at the bottom right.
5. 5Color the jellyfish pink and the net mesh icy blue, then add the purple coral and small light blue bubbles.
6. 6Optional: Add brown to SpongeBob's belt and pants, and black to his shoes, keeping the shirt stripe and eye whites white.
