A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big yellow areas: color SpongeBob's body and arms with golden yellow, leaving the eye whites, teeth and shorts highlights white.
- 2Fill the background wall behind him with pale blue, and the floor puddle and water splashes with sky blue.
- 3Color the sailor hat navy blue, leaving the small anchor emblem on the front white, then add the hat brim in the same navy blue.
- 4Use periwinkle blue for the curved arch railing on the left, and lavender for the anchor arrows on the door.
- 5Add the forest green pants, brown belt and shoes, the cream mop head and fringe, and the bright red tie with black shoe details.
- 6Optional: Finish with olive green spots on the sponge and dark red inside the mouth for a bit of extra depth.
