Spotted Fawn Standing With Head Turned

Spotted Fawn Standing With Head Turned coloring page

Coloring guide

A young spotted fawn stands in three-quarter view with its small tail lifted and its head turned toward the viewer. The drawing has large upright ears, a narrow snout, one almond-shaped eye, and a long slim neck. White spots are scattered across the back and side, each one a small open oval that is easy to color in. Thin legs end in simple pointed hooves, and a few short lines near the chest suggest fur. There is no background, so the fawn is the only thing on the page. Try browns and tans for the body and leave the spots light, or use soft yellow for them. A parent or teacher could also use this free printable to talk about why fawns have spots and how the pattern helps them hide in forests. Crayons and colored pencils both work well on the clean outlines.
