This goofy robot holds its arms out wide, like it's welcoming you in or just showing off. It wears a rounded helmet with a small ball-tipped antenna, and a zigzag-mouthed, toothy face peeks out from under the visor. Spiky shoulder plates frame the chest, which carries two lightning bolts and one large gear in the middle. Each oversized hand points a finger with a tiny cannon on the end. Where legs would be, a coiled spring and a chunky chevron-marked foot sit on a bumpy, snowy-looking ground line. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big red areas: fill the chest, torso sides and the mouth with tomato red, leaving the eye whites white.
- 2Color the arms, head, waist bands and base with royal blue, and use sky blue for the helmet top and the upper head.
- 3Fill the hands, thumbs and fingers, the blaster tips and the antenna ball with golden yellow.
- 4Add lemon yellow to the shoulder pads and the lightning bolts, then use soft orange for the waist band and bright orange for the chest gear and elbow joints.
- 5Color the coiled spring and the lower part of the base with light gray, and the dark visor shadow with sage gray.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of royal blue along the arms and yellow shine lines on the hands to make the robot look more solid.
