Squirrel Eating a Nut on a Tree Branch Dot to Dot

Coloring guide
A squirrel sits upright on a thick tree branch, holding a nut in its front paws while its round eye looks off to the side. Its big curved tail sweeps up behind its back, and the ears have little tufts at the tips. The branch stretches across the bottom of the page and forks on the right, with bark lines and shaded knots along the way. Numbered dots from 1 to 27 are scattered around the head, tail, belly and branch, and the tail and back outline are still missing, so kids connect them to finish the picture. Counting in order is good practice for early number skills. Once the dots are joined, try warm reddish browns for the fur, a darker brown for the branch, and a tan nut. This free printable works well for quiet time at home or in class.
