Stack of Five Presents in a Star Pattern Mandala

A round mandala frames a stack of wrapped Christmas presents sitting in the center. There are five gifts in all: a tall striped box with a big ribbon bow and a few holly leaves on top, a small box with a bow on the left, an even smaller striped box at the lower left, a round hatbox-style gift with a bow in the middle, and a large square box on the right with a looped bow and trailing ribbon tails. Behind them, thin zigzag lines fan out in a pointed star shape that fills the whole circle. Try using the gifts to practice color choices, such as giving each box its own paper color and a matching or contrasting bow. The narrow stripes in the background work well with colored pencils or fine markers, and you could color them in alternating shades to make the star stand out.
