Stalking Clouded Leopard Prowling Along a Branch

Coloring guide
A long-bodied leopard walks to the right in a low, stalking pose, with its head lowered and its eyes fixed ahead. Its coat is covered in irregular, cloud-shaped patches and swirly outlines, and the pattern runs from the neck down the back and onto the legs. The thick tail stretches out to the left with a series of banded blotches along it. A few whiskers curve out from the muzzle, and the ears are small and rounded. Thin wavy lines behind the cat suggest distant hills, and another line under its paws looks like a branch or ledge. Kids can color each patch a different shade of brown, gray, or gold, then use a darker marker to fill the spaces between the shapes. It also works well for talking about how spotted coats help big cats blend into their surroundings. This printable page gives plenty of small areas for careful coloring.
