Standing Garfield with a Coffee Mug and Donut

On his two big feet, Garfield stands tall with a happy grin, wide oval eyes and a little round nose. One hand holds a large empty mug and the other lifts a frosted donut that already has a bite missing. His round belly, long legs and curled tail are drawn in simple, clean lines, with a few small black stripe marks on his head, sides and tail tip. With no background, younger kids can finish it quickly. Try bright orange for the body, dark brown stripes, and pink icing with rainbow sprinkles on the donut. The mug can be whatever color you like best. Big open areas work well for crayons, and the stripes are a fun challenge for markers or colored pencils. Print it free. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big orange areas: fill Garfield's body, arms, head, ears and feet with tangerine orange, leaving the eyes and the gap between his legs white.
- 2Color the cheeks and the area around the mouth with pale yellow, keeping the eyes white.
- 3Fill the coffee mug with sky blue and paint the dark opening at the top of the mug with navy blue.
- 4Color the donut and its icing with hot pink, and give the nose a soft touch of rose pink.
- 5Optional: add a few darker orange or brown strokes on the fur edges for a bit of depth.
