Sunrise Lookout: Smiling Tabby on a Rock, Warrior Cats Style

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• tabby orange
• slate gray
• leaf green
• forest green
• sky blue
• burnt orange
• cream
• coral pink
• golden yellow

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big rock at the bottom in slate gray, leaving the small highlight lines white.
2. 2Fill the cat's body, legs, chest and head with tabby orange, keeping the eye whites and the tail highlight white.
3. 3Color the tail tip and front paw in cream, then add burnt orange to the tail bands and the darker body stripes.
4. 4Paint the inner ears coral pink and the sun golden yellow, leaving the sky and clouds mostly white except the top left cloud in sky blue.
5. 5Add the trees, bushes, hills and grass in forest green and leaf green, working from the back to the front.
6. 6Optional: Add a little extra burnt orange shading under the belly and legs for depth.
