Stroller Ride at the Park with a Baby in a Sun Hat
Coloring guide
Buckled into a stroller, a happy baby wears a wide-brimmed hat with a little bow and grips the front bar with both hands. The outfit is a scalloped-collar top with straps, soft pants and small booties. The stroller rolls along a curved path dotted with a few small oval stones. Behind it are leafy trees, round bushes, tiny flowers on the left, a park bench on the right and two butterflies fluttering overhead. The big hat, the stroller canopy and the bushes leave lots of room for crayons or markers, and the thin lines suit preschoolers. A soft yellow hat with a pink bow is cute, then try bright greens for the trees and purple or orange for the butterflies. Print it for classroom time or a rainy day. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sky and the trees: color the background sky and the leafy tree tops and bushes in leaf green, leaving the sky strip near the bench white.
- 2Fill the big blue parts next: color the stroller hood, seat and the baby's pants in sky blue, and add deep blue on the overalls, straps and the hood top.
- 3Color the hat in light pink with a rose pink brim, then add the lavender purple bow and the wood brown hat band.
- 4Paint the baby's face and hands in skin tone, the shirt in butter yellow with a peach collar, and the bench and tree trunks in wood brown.
- 5Finish the stroller frame, wheels and handlebar in charcoal gray and silver gray, and add grass green for the bench legs and grass.
- 6Optional: Leave the baby's eye whites, teeth, shoes and the stroller shine spots white to make the drawing pop.
