Sunlit Path Through the Forest With Daisies

A curving dirt path with scattered stepping stones leads deep into the woods in this free printable. Tall, thick trunks stand on both sides, topped with fluffy, scalloped leaf clusters, and thin rays of sunlight come down through a gap in the canopy at the center. Grassy tufts and bushes line the path edges. Daisy-style flowers with long leaves bloom in the corners, including two pairs up front. Farther back there are smaller trees and rounded shrubs. Warm yellow works well for the light beams, rich browns for the trunks and a mix of greens for the leaves, while pink, orange or purple petals would make the flowers pop. It's a calm, detailed scene that older kids will enjoy, especially for shading bark and grass. Add this to your Forest coloring page collection, alongside Beach and Umbrella.
