Superman Racing Forward With Speed Lines Trailing

In this bold black-and-white drawing, Superman bursts toward the viewer with one big fist thrust forward and the other arm pulled back. His long cape ripples behind him in sweeping curves, and a few thin speed lines trail from his boots to show how fast he's flying. His jaw is set, his hair has that classic curl on the forehead, and the S shield sits across his muscular chest. No background is drawn, so kids can give all their attention to the hero. The large cape and chest emblem are easy to color, while the muscles and folds give older kids some detail to shade. Bright blue for the suit, red for the cape and boots, and yellow for the shield make a good combo. Print or download this free page for classroom time or a rainy day. Looking for more?
