Startled Minion in a Captain America Costume

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• bright red
• royal blue
• golden yellow
• warm gray

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big yellow minion body and the yellow arm using golden yellow, leaving the goggle lenses, mouth teeth and white shield ring unpainted.
2. 2Color the cap, shirt, blue legs and the blue star on the chest with royal blue, and fill the top of the cap around the white A.
3. 3Fill the flag stripes, the red glove, the red shoes and the red leg band with bright red, keeping the white stripes between them.
4. 4Add warm gray to the goggle straps on both sides of the face.
5. 5Leave the white A, horns, costume stripes, shield star and background stripes white, and finish the black outlines if you like.
6. 6Optional: add a few light strokes of a slightly darker shade in the same color to the shirt and cap for a bit of depth.
