A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the big head, body, cape and the main part of the costume with bright red, leaving the eye whites and the puppet highlights white.
- 2Color the face mask muzzle with peach, then fill the large wing shapes with light pink so the wings stand out against the red.
- 3Add rose red and hot pink to the middle and lower wing sections to build a fun pattern across the wings.
- 4Use deep crimson for the darkest spots, like the iris of the right eye and the puppet's arm and base, to add depth.
