Weaving Ribbons and Shield Shapes Mandala

Coloring guide
A round mandala fills the page, built from long curved ribbons that weave over and under each other around a central point. Around the edge sit rounded, shield-like shapes, each with a small circle inside and a curled hook beside it. Smaller dots are scattered in the inner ring between the woven bands. Four curved four-sided corner shapes sit outside the main circle, one in each corner of the page. The pattern repeats evenly from side to side and top to bottom, so every section mirrors the others. The lines are clean and fairly thin, and some of the narrow ribbon sections are tight, which makes this a good fit for older kids, teens, and adults who like detailed work. Try coloring each ribbon in one shade, then pick a different color for the circles around the rim so the weaving stands out. You can also trace one ribbon with a finger to see how it passes over and under the others.
