Tangled String of Christmas Light Bulbs

Coloring guide
A long wavy wire loops across the page, holding twelve old-fashioned Christmas bulbs that point in all different directions. Each bulb has a pointed, flame-like shape with a plain rectangular socket at its base. Some bulbs point up, some hang down, and a few tilt sideways, so the string looks tossed out and a little tangled. The wire dips and curls between them, and there is plenty of empty white space around each bulb. The big, open outlines are easy for small hands to color inside. Try a color pattern challenge: pick three or four colors, such as red, green, blue, and yellow, and repeat them in order along the wire. Kids can follow the line from one bulb to the next. This free printable also works well for practicing counting to twelve.
