A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the faces, hands, and necks in peach skin, leaving the eye whites and Tanjiro's white collar white.
2. 2Fill the big jacket areas and dark hair with charcoal gray and very dark brown, keeping the windblown hair lines clear.
3. 3Color the checkered haori in emerald green and the bamboo muzzle in sage green, then add the chestnut brown and tan details near the bottom.
4. 4Paint the long flowing hair streaks in orange and salmon, and color Nezuko's vest in light gray.
5. 5Add light pink to the ribbon and the patterned fabric on Nezuko's haori, and use berry pink for her open mouth.
6. 6Optional: add darker shading on the folds of the jacket and hair, and leave the background white.
