Water Swirls Around Tanjiro and Nezuko in this Demon Slayer Page
Coloring guide
Out front stands a young swordsman with spiky hair, a forehead scar and a checkered haori, holding a katana out to his side as ribbons of swirling water curl around him. He's Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer, and just behind him is his sister Nezuko, with long flowing dark hair and a bamboo tube in her mouth. Her kimono has a geometric pattern, and she holds one hand out while her sleeves drift in the air. Splashing droplets and wave shapes fill the corners and frame the scene in a big circle. Bold, clean outlines make it easy to follow, and the checkered patterns give older kids something to chew on. Deep teal and sky blue for the water, green and black for the haori checks and soft pink for her kimono work nicely. Save it as a free PDF for a screen-free activity at home. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big water swirls: fill the flowing bands at the top, left, and bottom with light sky blue and royal blue, leaving the thin white highlights and the splashes white.
- 2Color Tanjiro's and Nezuko's skin with peach skin, and fill Tanjiro's hair top with burgundy and the rest of his hair with charcoal black, keeping the eye whites bright.
- 3Fill Tanjiro's green haori with mint green and deep forest green in a checkered pattern, then use dark brown for his lower robe and belt.
- 4Color Nezuko's green sleeve and shoulders with mint green, her scarf with crimson red, her sleeve with rust brown, and her hakama with dark brown.
- 5Add the bamboo stick in leaf green, the hand and cheek details in peach skin, and the small accents in tangerine orange and rose pink.
- 6Optional: Add a little charcoal black shading under the sleeves and along the robe folds to make the outfits pop.
