Cheerful Tanjiro Running With a Box, Demon Slayer
Coloring guide
Tanjiro Kamado runs straight at you with a big smile in this lively Demon Slayer page, one fist raised near his chest and his mouth open in a happy shout. He's in his Demon Slayer Corps uniform with a belt at the waist, wrapped leg bandages and straw sandals, and his checkered haori flares out behind him. A wooden box is strapped to his back, and his sheathed sword with its round guard rests at his hip. The earrings and the mark on his forehead are drawn in, and his spiky hair looks windblown. There's no background, so kids can focus on the character. Classic green and black on the haori, a dark uniform and warm brown for the box would look great. Clean, bold lines make it a good match for markers and colored pencils. Add this free printable PDF to your growing pile. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- dark brown
- mint green
- deep charcoal
- peach skin
- espresso black
- light gray
- dark forest green
- burgundy red
- warm copper
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the face, hands and any visible skin using peach skin, leaving the eye whites and the teeth bare paper.
- 2Fill the big brown areas with dark brown: the uniform, the pants and the belt area, then add the light gray belt buckle and bandages.
- 3Color the cape with mint green, alternating with deep charcoal and dark forest green stripes so the pattern follows the folds of the sleeves and hem.
- 4Add the hair in espresso black, then give the forehead scar a burgundy red dab and the wooden box a warm copper and dark brown finish.
- 5Optional: Add a few darker strokes of deep charcoal along the folds of the cape and the uniform for depth, and keep the highlights light.
