Wide-Eyed Tanjiro Kamado Portrait from Demon Slayer
Coloring guide
With big round eyes and a small puzzled frown, this Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer looks surprised and curious at once. Only his head and shoulders are shown. His spiky, layered hair sweeps up and back, a few longer strands fall behind his ear, and the folded collar of his kimono-style jacket frames his neck along the bottom. No background is drawn, so the white space around him is friendly for small hands. The large eyes with their bright highlights are a nice first challenge for kids learning to color carefully. Deep reddish-brown suits the hair and a dark red-brown suits the eyes, and if you leave the tiny white highlights alone they'll sparkle. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- light peach
- brick red
- sky blue
- royal blue
- pale blue
- dark brown
- cream white
- dusty rose
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the face and neck: fill them with light peach, leaving the eye whites and the small shine spots in the eyes white.
- 2Color the hair with brick red, including the back tufts, the strands around the ears and the spiky top, and keep the thin white gaps between strands.
- 3Fill the jacket: use royal blue for the collar panels and the center section, sky blue for the lower and side panels, and pale blue for the bottom right corner.
- 4Color the inner shirt collar near the neck with cream white so it stands out from the jacket.
- 5Fill the irises with dark brown, then leave the white highlight dots and the lower eye shine white so the eyes look bright.
- 6Optional: add a few soft darker strokes in the hair and jacket folds to give the drawing more depth.
