A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• peach skin
• charcoal gray
• near black
• teal green
• burgundy
• brick brown
• bright red
• raspberry pink
• off white
• crimson
• pale blue gray
• terracotta

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Fill the face, forehead and neck with peach skin, leaving the fox mask's white areas untouched.
2. 2Color the jacket and collar area charcoal gray, keeping the collar white where it shows.
3. 3Use teal green for the striped sleeves and shoulders, then fill the hair with burgundy and near black for the darker strands.
4. 4Color the fox mask's horn crimson and its cheek circle bright red, leaving the eye whites off white.
5. 5Fill the irises with raspberry pink and add the pale blue gray earrings, keeping the small highlights white.
6. 6Optional: Add a little darker shading under the hair and along the jacket folds for depth.
