Tanjiro Pats a Grumpy Boy, Demon Slayer Page
Coloring guide
Tanjiro sits cross-legged with a big grin and rests one hand on the head of a scruffy-haired boy sitting next to him. He has his forehead scar and hanafuda earrings, and his kimono is covered in wave and swirly cloud patterns. The other boy has wild, fluffy hair, scars on his face and a small sweat drop, and he frowns a little, legs crossed and one hand on the ground. His clothing has a bold hexagon pattern, and both boys wear sandals. Without a background, kids can focus on the characters and all those patterns. Deep green and soft pink on Tanjiro's outfit would look good, and keeping the hexagon pattern in one bright color will make it stand out. Print this sheet at home for coloring fans of all ages. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin: fill the faces, necks, and hands with peach skin, leaving the eye whites untouched.
- 2Color the blond hair of the boy on the left with honey yellow, and Tanjiro's hair top and bangs with maroon red.
- 3Fill the big kimono areas with jade green and pale mint, then add dark teal and forest green for the deeper patterns and cloud shapes.
- 4Color the dark hakama pants and sandals with dark brown and charcoal gray, and fill the orange haori hem and sleeve with tangerine orange.
- 5Add golden yellow to the geometric haori and sandal patterns, and leave the white collars, sleeve trims, and foot soles white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes along the folds of the kimono and pants to give them a little depth.
