Teddy Bear Drifting Over a Village Holding Five Balloons

Coloring guide
A smiling teddy bear with a big bow at its neck drifts across the sky. One paw grips a bunch of five balloons tightly while the other arm stretches out to the side. The round ears, fuzzy outline, and open-mouthed grin leave lots of room for shading. Down below sits a cozy little village with small houses with snowy-looking roofs, a church with a pointed steeple, rounded trees, and gentle rolling hills. Three fluffy clouds float in the sky around the bear. The balloons and bear are big and easy for small hands, while the houses and windows give older kids some detail to work on. Honey-brown fur with a bright red bow looks good, and each balloon can get its own rainbow color. This free printable suits quiet time at home or in the classroom. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the teddy bear: color the head, body, arms, ears and feet in caramel brown, and leave the eye whites, nose and muzzle area in soft peach or white.
- 2Color the balloons next: make the middle balloon cherry red, the left and small lower balloons golden yellow, the top left one bright blue, the top right one bright orange, and the right one leafy green. Leave the little shine spots white.
- 3Fill the bow and the bear's paw holding the strings in cherry red, and add the soft peach paw pads on the feet.
- 4Color the fluffy clouds in baby blue, leaving the background white.
- 5Work on the village: paint the roofs in cherry red and coral orange, the house walls in golden yellow, lavender purple and baby blue, and the church in pale cream with a cherry red roof.
- 6Finish with the trees and hills in leafy green and lime green, and add chocolate brown for the tree trunks and doors. Optional: add a few darker strokes on the bear's shadow side for depth.
