Three Headed Dragon Facing a Knight With Spiked Mace

A big dragon with three long necks and three open mouths full of sharp teeth stands on two clawed feet. It has a curled tail on the left and one large wing with pointed ridges rising behind its back. On the right, a small knight in a round helmet and a belted tunic holds up a long club with three spiked balls on its branching top. The ground is a flat strip with a few small pebbles and a tuft of grass in the middle. The shapes are big and simple, so this page works well for younger kids with chunky crayons. Try giving each dragon head a different color, then talk about how the knight might decide which head to face first. Older kids can add shading to the wing and tail, or color the spiked balls in metallic gray. It is a free printable that fits an afternoon of fantasy story time.
